Camp Northern Light

Camp Northern Light serves the northern part of Davidson County and the surrounding area.  Students who attend Camp Northern Light are entering grades 1-8.  Our full day camp involves youth in activities including STEM activities, arts and crafts, hiking, canoeing, swimming, outdoor play, drama, music, service learning, relationship building, indoor play, field trips, character building, archery, fishing, climbing, basketball, soccer, volleyball, nature study, team building, and MORE! Our mornings have weekly themes and feature hands-on science, math, art and reading activities. Our afternoons are filled with recreation opportunities and each day offers lots of time to play!

Camp hours are from 7:15 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and have a 1:12 staff/camper ratio.

Camp Northern Light will use YMCA provided transportation to travel to the YMCA to swim and go on field trips. The camp will use the gym, cafeteria, and outdoor space at the school. Campers will have opportunities each day to build friendships, explore interests, learn, and get great exercise.  Children will go outside each day so sun block is highly recommended. We also would like for each camper to bring a change of clothes, swimsuit, towel, extra pair of shoes, and willingness to learn and grow.

Campers will need to bring a snack daily. We ask that you do not send sodas because of the policy of the school.
