We want to welcome you to the J. Smith Young YMCA. This YMCA is truly a focal point of community service in Davidson County offering something for everyone of all ages from infants to seniors. As you can tell, our organization offers many different services to the community and touches the lives of so many in our community. The strength of our YMCA is in the people we bring together that participate in worthwhile programs and experiences.
Parking
The J Smith Young YMCA is fortunate to have very good neighbors. Among them are the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and the First Baptist Church. We are blessed to have a very good working relationship with each. Please be aware that the parking lot immediately behind our building (4th and Hargrave Streets) belongs to the Lutheran Church. They have been allowing us to use it for overflow parking for a number of years. The only time we are asked not to use the lot is when they have events at the church and need parking for their members and guests. We will have notices posted in our building and on our website letting you know when it is not appropriate to park there. Please do not park in the lots during those times. First Baptist Church is adjacent to our bowling facility on Hargrave Street. We also ask that you please honor their requests for church parking only during church events.
